I love beach photos.. I really do! But if you would like a little variety besides sand, water, and sun, here are a few of my absolute favorite non-beach but close to it locations!1. Rosemary Beach, FloridaRosemary is sooooo gorgeous! It is a small community located along 30A in between Panama City Beach and Destin. Everywhere you walk there are gorgeous greens, architecture, roads, and even walkways. I love this location. The photo above (my blog photo) is a mommy and me photo of my daughter and I and it was taken in Rosemary Beach! Also, here are a few I have taken in Rosemary recently. 2. Alys Beach, FloridaAly Beach is the next door neighbor to Rosemary. It is privately owned and they have strict rules about photography there. You must be staying onsite (you can rent houses through vrbo or through their company) or be getting married there to have permission to take photos there. That being said, if you have the option to stay in Alys, do it!! It is sooooo stunningly beautiful. Everything is literally photogenic. There are walls full of ivy, bamboo walkways, bridges, lakes, fountains, and everything in between. Check out a recent family session I photographed at Alys below. Oh..and.. if you are planning a wedding with around 50 guests... this is the place to get married!!!! Eden Gardens State Park - Santa Rosa Beach, FloridaIf you like big tall luscious oak trees, a mansion, and gorgeous gardens, Eden is the place for you! It is a staple location for photographers because of its variety and well maintained grounds. There is a state park fee but it is well worth it! Here are some recent sessions I have photographed at Eden Garden State Park. It too is a beautiful location for weddings. You can have the wedding overlooking the oaks or the mansion/fountain. Gorgeous!!! Hope you love these locations as much as I do!! To book a session at one of these locations, call/text/email me anytime at (850) 307-8402 and rachel@ultimateproductioncompany.com.
Please share if you love my work! This is the greatest gift you can give me! :) Thanks for reading! -Rachel Lauen, Owner/Photographer

Rosemary Beach is one of my favorite locations for lifestyle portrait sessions. We typically walk around the main street in Rosemary and stop at any and all photogenic locations. Everywhere you turn there is gorgeous architecture, landscaping, and shrubbery. We decided to go with the bo-ho theme for Sydney and Jeffrey's engagement portraits and I am so glad we did. She is so beautiful and these are some of my favorite engagement photos to date. I love shooting on the beach but I also love walking around finding hidden photography spots. Take a look and hopefully you love these as much as we do! Thanks for visiting! Click the link for more info on my Engagement portraits.
